We need your help. I’ve never said that before in one of these blogs, but it’s time to let you know. For over five years we’ve been producing articles, podcasts, and more on this website. There’s no revenue—in fact it costs us several thousand dollars a year to do this, in addition to the many hours spent.
But I’m actually not asking for help for this website. I’m asking for our ministry called Discipleship Journeys with Jesus (DJJ).
What is DJJ?
The mission of DJJ is to disciple people in actionable, biblical wisdom.
The vision is to take ½ million people on Jesus’ discipleship journeys.
DJJ is solely supported by donations from our partners: individuals, families and churches.
As this article is being published, I’m flying to Northern India for a week to further partner DJJ with a remarkable ministry that is baptizing about 15,000 new believers per month! They’re starting thousands of house churches for these new believers. The goal is 240,000 new house churches by 2030! All this is happening in an area which is currently less than 1% Christian.
Those thousands of new believers need to be discipled. That’s where DJJ comes in. They want to utilize our lessons to disciple these new believers!
But it takes funds to produce the lessons, to travel to India, and to create translations for India and other countries. And there is also a large special project coming up this summer that is a unique need.
Here is the project: Each DJJ lesson includes two videos recorded on location in the lands of the Bible where the journey in the lesson occurred. Last fall I traveled to Israel to do videos for 21 lessons. To complete the New Testament lessons (52 total), I need to go to Turkey, Greece and Italy this summer (2018) to record in 31 more locations.
The cost is going to be about $30,000 for travel, film crew travel, production and post production expenses.

NOTE: DJJ is an approved 501c3 tax-deductible ministry in the USA. We have a Board of Directors that oversees the ministry and our books are reviewed by an accountant. Along with special gifts for this project, ongoing monthly donations are needed to help us meet the monthly expenses.
