While in Florida last year my coworker Sam Douglass and I started chatting with a couple where were also visiting. The wife said, “Please help out—I’m confused. If Jesus was Jewish, and we are His followers, then aren’t all Christians Jewish also?”

ree

Good question I thought. Are all Christians Jewish by virtue of the fact that Jesus was born into a Jewish family and was raised in the Jewish faith?

Does Jesus require that His followers convert to the Jewish faith? Do Christians, Jewish people and other faiths worship the same God?

Are there many ways to God and do all people need forgiveness? How can we know for sure that our sins are forgiven and that we are going to heaven?

I have included below some links to additional blog articles and podcasts to answer related questions.

Will Christians be held accountable to God for what they have done even after they are saved? If we’re forgiven, what does it matter what we do? Can’t we just do what we want to, confess and forget? These are the questions we’ll consider in this podcast episode.
