During a question and answer session at our church, someone wrote down the question: If I commit suicide, will I go to hell?
Was this person seriously considering suicide as a way out? I certainly hope not.
Sometimes life is so overwhelming that we feel like we might just want to go away forever. One may think: “My problems will be solved if I commit suicide.” But, suicide is a permanent decision where as life has its ups and downs. When we are really down, it is usually an indication to have hope that the only way to go is back up.
What if a person were to commit suicide?
Can they still go to heaven?
That’s the question I tackle in this podcast.
